Continuing to highlight my fascination with street art of all kinds, here are photos I took in the port town of Valparaíso in Chile. This has, so far in my travels, been the best single location for street art. Walking around the city over 4-5 days, I took almost 400 photos! And, I probably missed quite a few. I highly recommend a visit to this place for any street art lover, and since the two are close, be sure to check out all the great Santiago street art as well.

Really interesting to see how the artistic styling differs so much from Buenos Aires.
I'm at close to 300 photos so far for Buenos Aires but I haven't stopped to consider the different collections yet.
I'm glad Valparaiso is already on my itinerary. As you know, I'm a big fan of graffiti art.
It's a gritty place, but definitely has a charm and most people end up loving it. Santiago also has some good graffiti, mostly around the university areas.
I'm also a huge fan of street art and take copious amounts of photos of it whenever I travel…..this post just reminds me how badly I need to visit Santiago someday to see it!!
I checked out your blog and it seems you were in Atacama at one point. Did you not make it further South to Santiago and Valparaíso? Well, if not, definitely get there. And since you'll be in the "neighborhood" head to Buenos Aires also as there are lots of good street art spots there.
